The author of this blog, Aventoe (“Author”), takes privacy (his own and that of third parties) very seriously, and will take all reasonable steps to ensure it.
Users of “Keyboard Times” (“Blog”) are subject to the privacy policies of third parties, such as the Automattic group (owners of WordPress, on whose servers the Blog is kindly hosted), Google Feedburner (which provides feed or email subscription services and stats), or others which may become applicable from clicking on any links directed to other sites or not created by the Author.
As part of the WordPress service, the Author has access to aggregate statistics regarding the volume of visits, referring links or search terms. To the best of the Author’s knowledge, such statistics do not permit visitor identification.
Comments require registration of an email address which will be known to the Author. Comments are filtered for SPAM by Akismet (subject to Automattic privacy policy), are moderated and will be approved as and when the Author may deem convenient.
To the best of the Author’s knowledge, the Blog will not attempt to place cookies, record IP addresses or any other personally identifiable data. Any such data which may be gathered in accordance with third party privacy policies is not made available to the Author.
When investigating abuse or malicious attempts (successful or otherwise) to invade, disrupt, interfere with or otherwise threaten or compromise the integrity of the Blog, the Author or any users, all information technically available may be gathered, recorded and made available to law enforcement, Internet agencies, user protection entities or WordPress.
