Within my considerable design limitations I intend to give the Keyboard Times a vivid and peaceful appearance against a restful dark background. After several hours scouring the Creative Commons listings at Flickr®, in search of a suitable image for the blog header, I was rewarded by this beautiful series of panoramic photos of Lake Champlain, between Vermont-New York (US) and the Québec (Canada), taken in Burlington on 23 November 2006 by American photographer Rob Friesel, which he ably joined with the help of Cannon® PhotoStitch® software.

The photos were licensed under Creative Commons (BY-NC-SA), which allowed me to edit for the WordPress Redoable Lite theme (by Australian designer Dean J Robinson) header size and to superimpose the blog’s name.

I am grateful to Rob Friesel, Dean Robinson, Flickr® and WordPress® for their kind contributions to the Keyboard Times.
